Just dropping a note to say HI!!!

I was a member of the Leeds Poly Canoe Club and then Metro Canoe Club for 6
long, but seriously fun years. From 1986 to 1992. Don't ask about what
courses I was doing, lets just say I made the most of being a student. Glad
to see things are still rolling along, same days, same times and hopefully
the same psychotic level of paddling madness that has actually been going on
for... Oh My God... Decades!

Who knows how much money has been spent in the Three Horse Shoes, SkyRack,
The Original Oak... Oh, and the good old Beckett's Park Bar? Must go back at
some stage and see what they have changed into.

So, who am I you ask? Probably not... Well, I'm now a qualified teacher of
IT at... well, look at the (Cheltladiescollege) e-mail address. Who said paddlers couldn't hold
down a proper job. :) Saying that I do run the canoe club here. Still
paddling, but probably not drinking as much. :) Oh, and I still have the
T-shirts from the 'good old days'. Not sure if you still have the same logo
and motto, but it was (Loop it, Screw it, or just use your hands.) And as
for a picture... Id have to scan the shirt.  As for a picture of me,
well.... Hmmm... I don't have one on the comp, but if you look back in the
Students Union pictures you might find a photo of the Brunswick Terrace
Secretary from around '89 to '91. That's me trying to look like I know what
I was doing. :)

Anyway, I just thought I would drop the club a line. Say hi to everyone and
tell them there is life after LMUCC, but it's not as much fun.
