The Club has Pool sessions on Wednesday and Fridays Between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Where you can practice your strokes and rolling in comfort and safty of The warm pool with Life guards and a Qualified British canoe Union Instructor. You also will get to learn how to rescue other people and your self and at the end of the session we normaly have a game of chariots or canoe Polo.This Next Message is from the Committee
Welcome to the Canoe Club. If you fancy something different from the usual sports clubs then try this. A combination of the great outdoors, great social events and thrills and spills of some of Britain most spectacular white water rivers and lakes.
The club involves many aspects of the sport including river running. canoe polo. freestyle (rodeo), and flat water touring. We Cater for the total novice to through to Experienced paddlers, indeed most people who join the club have never paddled before in their life. Over the year you will have a great many experiences and you may even learn how to paddle. There is also the opportunity for members to gain BCU Qualifications as they progress.
DON'T THINK ABOUT IT. JUST DO IT. GET TO KNOW PEOPLE AND YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK.
